For reasons I will never understand, getting shoes and socks on for school always seemed to create drama in our household. It used to be drama about the seams on socks, but we solved that problem with SmartKnitKIDS Seamless Sensitivity Socks. More recently there were other contributing factors: shoes were inevitably slipped off without undoing laces; double knots had become triple and quadruple knots, forming a tangle that took ages to undo; and it was never possible to get just the right tightness. Well, I'm pleased to say I think we've overcome all of these problems with Greeper Laces. I'm so excited to introduce them to my store. As their slogan reads - once applied, always tied. I love them! I especially like that they are regular laces (not elastic) and that they have loops that look like regular laces. This is particularly helpful for kids who are self-conscious about appearing different from others. They also come in a great range of colours. The first time I fitted them to my son's shoes, I got a bit confused (the instructions say to tie a reef knot, but after viewing this video, I realised a simple double knot does the trick). We've practised with the laces over the holidays, so I'm looking forward to a calm start to school on Tuesday. I hope it's the same for you!
